I think you mean the NEOS fusion monsters which are fusion summoned using "contact fusion", where the materials return to the deck.
The only other archetype that uses Contact Fusion as far as I know is Gladiator Beasts.

incorrect i said they were fusion based but i ddint state how they where fusioned based but ill give you one more hint

they arent dierectly related to HEROs in way (and yes neo spcians and neos fusions i consider dierectly related)

another way to look at it is this

they are a rip-off of HEROs

Well there was many jokes :D But i think the one of first were about that marker. ( When Tea drawed that smile on their hands :D )

That isn't actually a ongoing joke, like it does appear in the show several times or anything like that.

littlekuriboh himself said at a panel what the first ongoing joke was in the abridged series.

Ok then what about tristans voice? They are joking about it in many episodes :D

That isn't really a ongoing joke either. A ongoing joke is for example where someone either does or says something repeatedly.

I'll give you a hint; it's first seen while in Duelist Kingdom in the abridged series.
