Can I use dark illusion to negate Yubels own effect to tribute a dark monster I control?

no no you cant becuase yubels effect doesent target i beleave cuase it doesent tell you to choos a monster or anything like that it jusut tell you to tribute a dark monster so no i dont think dark illusion can be used on yubel
