Demise And My Body As A Shield

i summoned my Demise vs Pilover and i activated his effect But he negated with MBAAS .
i said that ^ You Can't But He Said He Can We Asked Many ppl itachi unknown ... But none of them were Sure . So Can He Negate my Demise effect ? i say no , Cuz its not activating a card that's effect is to destroy 1 or more monsters i didn't activate any cards !! i just activated my monsters effect !

so Help plz .

As long as Demise would destroy one or more monsters... My body as a shield affects... But if the only thing being destroyed are Spells/Traps, then no.

And BTW... You also have to pay LP for Demise because it is a post. Question answered. Topic Closed
