Hello everyone, I am vantageSP. I heard about this place on the DN forum
Chatbox so I decided to check the place out. Been playing yugioh since
it came out in the TCG. My first card was a Masaki the Legendary
Swordsman I got from a friend. This started my collection. Been playing
on and off ever since. Never really went competitive, just starting go
to locals this year and did decent at my first regionals. I am a
somewhat good duelist, not the best. I tend to play a very unique style
of play and use a ton of weird/random techs that most people don't
really expect. In terms of decks I generally use Anti-meta. If I make a
meta deck or a deck based on a theme I usually toss in a stun element.
I also really enjoy the Lightsworn Engine. Probably my favourite engine
in the game and I add it to many of my decks.
Top 5 favourite cards:
- Vanity's Fiend
- Thunder King
- Fosil Dyna
- Kycoo
- King Tiger
I really don't like using top tier decks tbh. It just feels weird to me.
And like I said if I do I try and toss in my own personal favourite
techs and cards to make it feel like my own. It doesn't feel right using
someone elses deck IMO. It is alright if you are learning how to use
the deck, but I find once you get passed the testing stage it is better
to customize it to your style of play.
