Duel Academy (DA) is the first academy ever in the BC and KC Community, here you can learn more about this game, making friends and having a lot of fun. First of all you HAVE TO READ THE RULES. Then come back here and read our Starter Guide. .
Dueling system
KCVDS (Kaiba Corporation Virtual Dueling System)
DA used the Kaiba Corp Virtual Duel System (KCVDS). We used that system for our events like tournaments,arenas and any other sort of dueling event in this site. The download link can be found here.If you want to get the newest version of KCVDS (1.27) which gives you the extra that allows you to see what your opponent does (like when he is viewing his graveyard,deck,etc) you may find it here , you just need to run the game through this shortcut. After you do all this, make sure to register in the site, then you need to login with the registered name in the game and you will be able to use KCVDS.
DN (Dueling Network)
DA uses now the Dueling Network Duel System (DN). The download link is:here. All you need to do is register there and play. Game is fully online. It is updated with latest cards.
Hamachi
Hamachi will allow you to host duels in KCVDS as well as keep yourself communicated with members of our forum. If you don't have Hamachi please click here so you can download it. This is the newest version of Hamachi, so make sure that you've installed this version, because there might be some problems with the connection. Once you've downloaded and installed Hamachi you will have to join one of our networks. These networks will allow you to contact with the members of DA. Here are some of the official networks of DA:

We want to know about you, so make sure to post an introduction from here. There the people will welcome you into our academy, and you will have gotten your first post.
Posting
We are looking for activity from our members, so we'd like for everyone to be active and post in topics where they feel they can give an answer, or just discuss things. There are a lot of ways to earn posts, the easiest is by going to the General Discussion section .It's fun, you can post whatever game or topic you want, as long the thread doesn't contains spam. You can also welcome new members into our academy every time someone posts an introduction. Going to the people's dorm rooms and welcoming them to the dorm is also a good way to earn posts.
Getting Into a Dorm
The Duel Academy system make it crystal clear that all newcomers/newbies will start from the bottom and work his/her way up to Ra, Obelisk the Graduate. To read more about the topic just check the news feature (the first thing your eyes should catch on the forum right below the main logo).
Dueling in a Shadow or Battle Arena
Here at DA we offer two different arenas, the way you duel in these arenas are very simple. Each arena has a specific set of rules, so make sure to read them before dueling.In the Battle arena you can challenge any member of Duel Academy.You can have as many single or match duels you wish and you post them in the Battle Arena Section . For any single win you will receive 30 Duel-Points, you don't lose any DP for any single lose.
In the Shadow Arena you can challenge any member of Duel Academy too.You will duel in a single or match duel with a bet of some Duel Points. Example: I want to duel someone and we say the bet will be 500 Duel Points. The winner will get these points,and the loser will lose them as well.The duels should be posted in the Shadow Arena Section .
There is a record list with your loses and wins so far in your profile, you can check it whenever you want. IF I wasn't that clear,here are the rules:

Widgets
Duel Academy contains some competitions too.There are 4 types:Card of the week,Duelist of the week,Staff member of the week and Graphic member of the week.The winners will be posted in the Portal of our site.

Duel Points
You can use them to buy stuff in the Deck Shop , Graphic Shop and any other things.You can receive them by winning Tournaments , Playing in our Arenas.
