Card Appreciation Topic

Greetings ladies and gentlemen. This post is meant for high class arguments on cards forgotten by the hand of the Gods.

I will post a card every 24 hours or so and your job is to say something good about it. Anything will do as long as it's good. If it's a combo, the better, but even aesthetic compliments will do.

This post is meant to make people see the potential of other cards, so I hope vets in the game can post here ideas (even if completely impossible or efficient) for others to enjoy and philosophize about. We shall hold this little game by the fire while we smoke tobacco in a pipe and sip on brandy.

I could see how it might be useful for clearing a spot on a field or hitting something like Scrapiron Scarecrow.


Also, snails.

I like the all terrain treads.

It has... high defense and a bounce effect. Due to wind up's method of gameplay, it could be a good surprise move against some annoying hard-to-destroy cards. And nobody would see it coming.

Strong OTK potential with effect, tank wheels, and awesome art.
Also, following on Heatnix' comment on playstyle, Wind-Ups still have potential to OTK with spammability.

It can be useful for popping out another psychic type monster at perhaps a more opportune time.

I like the hair style, and I guess she's pretty to be a drawing.

The effect could work for some mild come backs, or you could destroy her yourself at the end of your turn to bring something more relevant your next turn.

Gishki Psychelone is the card to be appreciated next.

It's a spammy Gishky ritual. So that's a thing.

I can see this card being a real pain, especially if your dueling a seasoned duelist that knows what decks play what type and all that. Plus it can be summoned by any of the ritual spells for Gishki.

Nice card I guess. Decent attack points for the current game, and getting to look at one card in the opponent's hand is nifty. Gives you insight to what they're planning.

Peeking at your opponent's hand is fun. Making them go minus is more fun. Level 4 with 2150 ATK is also fun.

Looking at your opponent's hand is always fun, and it has a decent amount of attack to make it worth the space in your deck. Also, her hat is a lobster.

Black Horn... the free Solemn Warning for purely Special Summons.
Decent card, blatantly obvious card art. overall a good card and a decent staple.

OMG FINALLY

I love this card. I wish more people would see its value. Like Ehero said, it's essentially a free Solemn. It has a counterpart, Horn of Heaven, which DOES have a cost, but can stop any summon.

Despite being limited to special summons, for not having a cost this card is amazing. If you need some monster removal in your deck, I'd definitely run this. Not to mention, it's easily sided out if you need to. I've experimented with this myself and found it works very well.

Give it... ALL the hearts! :D

It's a dark counter part to horn of heaven, yes, and it's always cool to see those.

Really solid card that can help in this meta with bottomless and compulsory restricted to 1. Due to the great amount of special summons in the game, it could be a valuable asset to any deck.

Not 6, but a whole 7 tools, for use by any bandit.

This card was amazing a few years back.

It has a knife, some sort of ruler, a tiny possibly useless mallet, a... twisty thing... some keys... eer... and a great logo of a skull-- among other tools.

It's a counter trap that is still relevant. Now, without heavy storm and heavier dependency on the single copies of traps we got as long as solemn warning, this card could very well make a come back in this format if used right. Unlike trap stun, this one can get over and negate Solemn Warning. I know that people would say that Dark Bribe does something similar but everybody hates it, but that trap makes your opponent be at +1, and we never want that to happen. Seven tools, however, is more about using your own resources and not giving any advantage to your opponent when you negate something that could potentially change the tide of the battle.

I think it could be a great asset for this format, nevertheless under rated.

Ah, the good old days when 7 tools was amazing. Before all of this dragon ruler and evilswarm nonsense

I use that thing all the time in Boy Scouts.

Most useful tool ever.

In Yugioh, it's decent. I like using it in Gusto decks.
