Rof of Silence

Okay so lets say I activate abundance and one of my oppents monster is equiped with Rod of Silence - Key'est, would Abundance's effect still activate and destroy everything on the field?

Well, if you would read the effect of Rod of Silence, you would see that it says: Negate the effect of a Spell Card (excluding this card) that targets the monster equipped with this card and destroy the Spell Card.

Crystal Abundance - indiscriminately - sends all cards on the field to the grave without specifically targeting any of the cards.
Therefore, yes you would be able to destroy all the cards on the field regardless of Rod of Silence's effect.

because it doesnt specifically designate the monster
