i had the same problem actually, what u need to do is download the full version from KC. hopefully that works for you, it did for me

Yes, you have to download it from KC.The update is manually.
If anyone has problems with the update feel free to post here for feedback.

I am stuck at the beginning of the duel were it supposed to say "Start" saying "waiting for the other player"... same problem as Kira Amadeus.

Bugs happen sometimes.

If you have problems with waiting for opp dl the full version now it works for me and all your cards were black becouse you intalled in anoter folder it happened to me to when you say to install on same folder as old kcvds insted it makes a new folder thats why you have black cards after you dl copy what you intalled and paste in same folder as the old kcvds 1.24 say replace all and it will work but its better to dl the full version so you won't have prob with waiting for opp
