Hello guys,
Tomorrow is the deadline to reach the 2nd stage of the KC cup and if you were discouraged to climb because you do not own one of the meta decks - just try it for a day. The rewards from ranking up in the KC cup are too good to pass on if you are a free-to-play player (a lot of gems) so even if you don't reach lv 20 you can gain a lot from that event.
Are all the rewards you will collect if you reach lv 20.
Here are some decks that I recommend if you are free-to-play player :
Notice that those builds are nowhere near optimal, because they are focused on the user having only 1 of some UR or SR's. Those are decks that I made with the cardpool that I have. You can freely switch staple spells and traps to what you own.
And the Aliens deck to get to lv 20.
Cards that are really good this KC Cup :
Cosmic Cyclone : deals with Big Makos by banishing their SSA; banishes Alien's "A"Cell Recombination Device denying them a search and activation if you play it with no face up monsters on field; deals with Archfiend's continuous trap by chaining to it (the Archfiend player wont get to summon if you chain cyclone to the activation of his trap,but if you do it the other way around - you target and he chains - he will get to summon so keep that in mind); Other decks that rely on backrow. Also can enable the skill of your character cause you take 1000 LP of damage.
Forbidden Chalice : deals with sylvans's flip effects (komushroomo or magical merchant); Other decks that rely on monster effects like glad beasts (they can pay the cost to tag out but then nothing will be summoned from deck);Can be used in the damage step on your own monsters as well for that surprise finish or to get over something big;
Enemy Controller : Counters Cyber Angels Daikini plays; Too flexible of a card - great for defense and even better for offence. Combination of 2 or 3 E-cons can be really deadly with tributing and stealing more than one monster. Can be used with piercing damage monsters.
Super Rush Headlong : Counter to SSA (Sea Stealth Attack) and glad beasts(because it destroys by effect at the start of the Damage Step); deals with Hazy Flame monsters. Great on monsters that can attack more than once clearing up boards,since decks usually focus on one attribute.
Wall Of Disruption : Great vs Hazy Flame and other OTK decks. Great vs battle focused decks. Problem with this card is that it is irrelevant against some decks that either pop the whole backrow ( Dark World, Archfiends , Golden Fish) or dodge it ( Ancient Gears, Big Mako)
Anti-Magic Arrows : Good against backrow heavy decks to go for that last attack. May be the only way to beat "Cancer" decks ( mill/stall/burn decks ) if they don't have Sphere Kuriboh's in their hand.
Well TLDR good luck guys!
