It's honestly not that hard to be a tactician. It is very hard to get it to perfection (I'm sooo far from that lol), but honestly you just need to analyze your opponents ideas and try and push for a weakness. 

About my serve I would say again I don't have a pure best. My most commonly used are a forhand flat slice spin shot (long or short) and power fast forhand slice reverse flat. The other I use is a backhand slice shot and japanees style service that is really hard for me to explain in english for some reason  I also try to implement diffrent services in my game as often as posible as even tho I don't belive that the service is ALL that important it is good to catch your opponent by suprise when they are not expecting a certain cervice.

By the japanese style do you mean the serve that you slice vertically? dat shit hard af.

Yes, vertically...well it's not really like the pros, there's services are pretty damn proficient, but most of my one are vertical with different variants and diffrent spots.

This is Stiga Optimum Sync + 2 Stiga Calibra LT Spin. I changed my style. I don't want to use Carbon anymore. I realized that I now I have lost lots of ball feeling because I can only play 2-3 times a week. My forehand topspin's becoming worse so now I have to use all wood blade. Also I'd like to use Calibra Spin to make my ball spinnier. I sacrifire my speed to get more control, feeling and spin.

Well I broke one if my rockets on the tournamenT we had 3 days ago. We came second (my school) and since I am first rocket on the males to 16 and the final match for first place was me vs a pretty decent player who got 4 at a national championship (still haven't gotten to go to one but hopefully I will next year) and I played like trash...lost 2-0 pretty badly and the last point i wanted to make a strong shot and my rocket flew of my hand and it broke lol. It wasn't really expensive since as I said I don't hold any attachment to the rocket and try to not include it as a factor in my game and how I feel before I play  but that is maybe because I haven't found the one I really like still...

Will show you my back-up one soon (when I find it lol). It's actually pretty trash but it will still do a job for a time till I get the money to buy a proper one. 

Also control is great but a thing I find in most non-pro players these days is they can keep up with faster points. If you can outspeed and outmatch in a good forehand power balls point you can most likely beat them with raw power only. I'm actually changing my style a bit too. It is still very flexible and depends on who I'm playing (I do like knowing the way my opponent plays since it does give me a general advantage most of the time), but I've implemented a lot of well trained fast flat balls in the middle of the table or where my opponent is trying to put them closer to the edge for more efficiency. Also I'm trying to prefect my services and make them more interesting and hard to catch. 

And no @STX table tennis is not a nerdy thing. It's a sport. But yes, people call nerdy everything they don't do or understand. They call reading nerdy too...the people that say those kind of stuff dont read or do any of the activities they call nerdy  (this is in no way meant to offend anybody ^^)

I don't play soccer, nor do i understand it but i don't think it's nerdy. Soccer is a real sport. As soon as someone dies playing table tennis then i'll recognize it as a real sport.

In ancient history we have evidence that Greek and Roman people even considered music to be a sport. There was even an olympic discipline dedicated to music and as you know the olympics back then till now are and were considered as the biggest sports competitio. Yes music has fallen from the list but if it was considered once a sport, then table tennis sure is too. 

Also, have people died while playing volleyball? Or golf? Or is gold not a sport too..

And usually a sport is something that is competiive in some sort. Reading is not a sport. Tho professional eating is to some extent.

there was that one guy golf player that was so pissed he threw his stuff in to a lake, and when in to get it and ended up drowning. i think that counts.

I can still outspeed my opponent. I played with my new bat yesterday and I really like it. Because my forehand is too strong (uncontrollable) that using carbon will just make the ball go out a lot. I can't smash hard. With this blade my control becomes better and yeah spinnier. The speed isn't decreased much and I get more spin and control. Neat.

This Optimum Sync is most of the time used for Chinese and Vietnamese national team. I once had a chance to practice with national team but I was so bad that they kicked me out lol. What's the meaning of life.

And yeah I get what you mean. Tho spin can be used against you when you play a more fast paced match. Control is good tho for me the controlling factor is pace and precision. It helps you outlast your opponent and get them into making a mistake.

table tennis is a legit sport and probably one of the hardest at that. Anyone who mocks it does not even comprehend the hours of training you need to be remotely decent, not even mentioning competitive.

Well yeah, but I still stand by my theory. Everything that can be competitive is a sport. 

Chess is a sport too. Also the only sports I'm good at are table tennis, football and chess. I'm also one of the best at weightlifting at my school. 65kg is my curent best. 

I suck at everything else tho.

I'm good at k.ing, having successful crying-to-sleep sessions, rubik, summoning Quasar if opponent doesn't interrupt me with gay traps, sleeping 8 hours in 4 hours, making memes.

Actually you "ok" more then you "k." Nowadays...you've gotten rusty. Also, rubik is a sport too ^^ I'm like the biggest noob at it tho
