I spoke with Salad, he's going to resume it this week.

And I'll participate whenever I want to though probably won't have time to make decent stuff.

well, what I thought was start on this friday and end on next friday then vote on next weekend but since anzo said sald will host it this week anyways, it seems I wont need to stuck my hand into this....for now chet

Usually you get a couple of days to send your entry and a couple more to vote. The Host holds the decision concerning days of sending entries and voting. Though it's preferable to start it on Frinday; you get till Monday to send entries, and then voting starts on Thursday and ends on Friday - and repeat.

Anyway, it's not really about ideas. It's about hosting the event. If Sala is absent or something for a while it doesn't mean that whole event should be off. Why do we have staffers here for?

Also you could do some themes again. I mean not so many people remember SOTW #50 right (when that one was out I probably didn't know what DA is)

Compromise I have thought of: I will do week of Freestyle, then a topic/challenge, then freestyle, then Challenge etc
