You needed some bright green so here I bring it you...
It was the twenty-second century. The war had been raging on for over a hundred years. They had been fighting for so long they couldn’t even remember why they had even started fighting. All they knew was that there were two sides; The Coalition and the Alliance. They fought and killed over the same piece of rock so many times that people had lost count. Machines fought on the ground and men fought in the skies. It was a dead stale mate. No one could remember but yet they still fought. In the year 2142 one side gained the advantage, The Coalition. Their plan was to launch 5 sleeper ships, each named after their patron nation. The Hispania, The Kusari, The Rhineland, The Bretonia, and The Liberty. Against all odds they were able to break through the Alliance blockade. They made their way to the Sirius star system, to start a new life. That was over eight-hundred years ago. They have come far from then, but they will never forget that wonderful lie.
“Our daughter! What will your father think?”
“I’m sure he will be fine with her. He will love her, her eyes and hair is like his. My father will take good care of her. He will protect her from the cruelness of this life.”
“But she is not like us! I was changed after she was born! How can she be saved?”
“It is not this life for her that I am afraid of, it is the life her Great grandfather wants for her. He never wanted her to be born, and he will look for her and hunt her down and kill her if my father does not find her first, we must remain hidden for now until she is much older. Kronos knows that she lives and he knows she is not yet immortal. Planet Malta with the Outcasts seems like a nice place to hide.”
The young 2 year old was sitting in her mother’s lap sleeping. Her hair was a bright neon green color. Her mother and father lived on Planet New London within the British colony of Bretonia. The name Bretonia came from the name of the Sleeper ship which gave birth to the British colony itself. Her father was a tradesman who didn’t ally himself with anyone, her mother was just one of his escorts. Going from lawful New London to the unlawful Omicron Alpha to work for the Outcasts was an extreme change. He had long blonde hair to his shoulders and his eyes were a bluish-grey. His wife had short hair for a woman and it was light brown. She also had blue eyes, but hers were brighter. Their hope was to have their daughter live and grow up somewhere where she would be safe from her father’s family, although he knew that she would eventually have to be involved with her own family.
“Hun, I do not wish to involve your family in this, they would be thought to be hiding her and would be killed.”
“They have already been killed…”
The woman began to cry as she pulled her daughter closer to her snuggling her harder and harder.
“I hope you know how much we love you Chaos. One day you will fix everything.”
