[YZ09] Gagaga Head

(1) If your opponent controls a monster while you do not, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing monsters as a Level 4 monster.
(2) When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target up to 2 “Gagaga” monsters in your Graveyard, except “Gagaga Head”; during this turn, you cannot Special Summon, except Xyz Summoning by using only “Gagaga” monsters as Xyz Materials, also Special Summon those monsters.
(3) An Xyz Monster that was Summoned using this card on the field as Xyz Material gains this effect.
• If it is Xyz Summoned: Draw 1 card.

it's a boost for the deck. also the restriction is just xyz summon with gagaga so you can still summon whatever xyz and draw  1 card if you use him. so yeah a solid card.

Problem is that you cannot SS before or after you normal summon Gagaga Head meaning that if you dont use the tribute summon effect you will have a maximum of 3 monsters to xyz summon with and you cant use rank-up magic because of the restriction. Basically what this does is xyz summon one card and draw a card from your deck (if you used 2 materials you have an extra monster to attack with; if you only had one gagaga monster in your grave you get one xyz and draw one).

You can normal summon him as Level 4 while you control no monsters. 
Also well tribute summon can be done the same, you can SS the tributeon your OPP End phase or, you can reduce its leveletc.

also you know we have Jester, you used it if im not wrong. 




so yeah you can fix your deck to use GAGAGA head or leave it as your triumph card.

How is this even a good tech ? Running jester allows you to get gagaga head when the whole field is empty but you need 1-2 other gagaga monsters in the grave so that you can use the head eff. If you normal jester on a board in which you have some gagaga monster and you tribute the gagaga monster to summon head and then summon the gagaga monster from the grave with head's effect the jester becomes dead because -> you can only xyz summon with gagaga monsters this turn. If you tribute jester you can search a normal monster which can be great in a dark magician gagaga deck which relies on Ebon magician but in pure gagaga builds he is useless for me.

Edit : the bad thing with gagaga head is that you will rely heavy on rank 4 xyz and which rank 4 that has 3 materials can you put inside your deck? Shark drake with gagaga girl and gagaga magician is worse than machu mech which requires only gagaga girl and gagaga mag (without head) masquerade can be a tech against decks like bujins but it is not that good. Also if you tribute summon gagaga Head he becomes level 6 with gagaga sister is a rank 8 play and if you have gagaga magician too you can go for a 3 material xyz rank 8( Coach king Gianttrainer or smt)
