There should be a way for people that just straight up suck to rank down. Like consecutively performing awful in tournaments.

Or we could just demote people whom lose 50% of their BA/SA duels each circuit.

The circuit has the demotion : for example greymon was demoted from obe to ra yellow.

Demoting someone isn't an easy decision to make, hence why It's limited to our DA Circuit event.

No. The circuit demotion is for anyone Ra & above who performed significantly badly during the circuit.
