[OCG Rulings] Igknights Important Ruling

Q: I activated the (1) Pendulum Effect of a Pendulum “Igknight” monster and chains “Stardust Spark Dragon’s” effect to it. With this “Stardust Spark Dragon’s” effect, if I were to protect the “Igknight” monster in either Pendulum Zone so that it cannot be destroyed, how would this resolve?
A: The Pendulum Effect of Pendulum “Igknight” monsters must destroy an “Igknight” card in both of your Pendulum Zones, otherwise you will not be able to add 1 FIRE Warrior-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. In the proposed scenario, the card protected by “Stardust Spark Dragon” will not be destroyed and will stay in the Pendulum Zone, but the other “Igknight” card will be destroyed. (As a result of this, since you only managed to destroy 1 card, you cannot add 1 FIRE Warrior-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.)

So As I said before you cannot Add if you didn't destroy ALL cards in your Pendulum Zones,  unless your name is @Cicada Supremacy or @jjh927 of Course.

It's not so obv for example here your friend the bug\JJh and a lot of people worldwide used the searching effect by only destroying one and protecting the other <3

Yep and as I said to @JJH927 days days ago:"After the rulings will come up, the organization and wikia will change the TEXT words"  and in fact the fan-translators now changed the text from "All" to "Both" to have people like Cicada and JJH  understand what ALL means in a game where you have only 2 Pendulum ZONES, to   keep the TCG sentence "and if you".

But  anyways,  Cicada you can continue to chain the  destruction of a BA while you have a Non-BA monster and JJH  you can continue to use Electric Virus as a Quick-Effect

I know some kids or oldmen with mind of kid is so salty because the OBVIOUS ruling was finally confirmed.

It doesn't work because they changed the wording, and I said like 10 times that if they change the wording from "destroy all...and if you do" then it won't work. We agreed nobody loses anything if text gets changed, which it did.

Here's why it doesn't work now:

It says "destroy BOTH...and if you do." And if you do effects work like: If you perform A even slightly you can perform B. But you can not slightly destroy BOTH, unlike with ALL, where it would still work if only 1 is destroyed. Changing that 1 word slightly balanced them, all though they are still OP as hell.

it is, and will be always ALL. even organization said it.
after the ruling they put BOTH to do the stuff clear for people like you. but the text is ALL <3

Why would I be mad? I already stated before that its highly likely that the wording would get changed, which it did, and if it did that it wouldn't work. My argument was that with the way they were worded before, it would have worked, and obviously it would have since they changed it.

@Jv: It says BOTH now.
