Announcement: Some Changes

First topic message reminder :

Hello there folks, this is Anzo-sama speaking.

In the past few months we've been having some discussions regarding the future of Duel Academy. Of course, all said and done, the future of DA depends on the staffer's hard work to keep this place as fun as it is right now.

Most of our Admins squad are college students, we're heavily pressured by our schedule and exams and whatnot. However, we love this place, so made a very hard decision to change many things in DA. All changes should take place starting tomorrow.

The changes will be as follows:
- I'll be stepping down from my Head Admin position in DA, and I also decided to hand over the position to the 2nd most-active spammer in DA, Jv1391. I believe he is the right guy for this job, as I know he cares for DA as much as I do.
- All members of DA will have their ranks reset by the end of the day in preparation for a new DA Circuit edition and also the new Banlist that is coming soon.
- All of our current staffers will be removed from their respective positions, and an entirely new squad will be picked by Jv himself once he starts his duty.

Such decision wasn't an easy one to make. However, I'm glad that most of the Staff team agreed to such a call, including the notorious Admins team that we currently have. I honestly thought they were going to throw rocks at me when i first recommended these changes, but they didn't.

We could use your feedback on these changes as they'll decide the future of DA and the continuity of our lovely community. Most of our members, including myself, have been part of DA since we first started back in 2008, and we'd hate to leave it now. Hence, we'll still be stalking around, only from now on as ordinary members.

We thank you for your understanding, and we hope such decision is met with positive replies. We sincerely believe this is a change only for the good of DA.

Slifers are untested. Only reason they appear 'colorless' is because forumotion limit us where they'll only be recognized as forum members after they post 1 message to trigger the Slifer group where they're automatically added to it.

Still, they're untested for a time.

You... do understand that it was a basement, and not a dorm, right? It was a place to put DMK when he got blue implausibly, funnily enough because he knew he could beat the testing system. When I put forward the idea, that was its one goal; fuck DMK over. It succeeded.
