Render flow is right to left

It isn't to be honest. The render is big and doesn't leave much room for effects. Also, the hand glow leaves me a very few options concerning light source that doesn't really match with the way he's holding his cards - not sure how explain it properly, but it doesn't feel right no matter what I did.

the light source is in front of him, also the cards themselves are a small light source

I could make something 'good' with it, but it won't be 'amazing'. Which is why I don't like that render.

You can't really use "good" and "bad" to measure something entirely. I'd say keep practicing and you should be able to get better results. I've been doing this for years, so naturally, my results are somewhat on higher level.
