Trouble Private Messaging

I have been having trouble trying to private message someone. I click on the PM box below their post and it just brings me to a page that says "you haven't reached your post limit". I am new to this website, so if someone can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

You cant PM until you reach X amount of post (Im not sharing the magic number publicly) but I will tell you that your still a fair distance away from reaching that magical number. This is a safety measure we put in place because of spammers joining are forum and spamming PM's to other members.
