Black Whirlwind

Alright, I got two questions about Black Whirlwind.
1. My opponent NS a Blackwing. The effect of Black Whirlwind activates and i chain MST.
2. My opponent NS a Blackwing. The effect of Black Whirlwind activates and i chain Trap Hole.
In both occasions.. does the effect of Black Whirlwind applies ?

I'm not sure for the first,but for the second the BW must stay on the field otherwise Whirlwind can't be activated.

1. Continuous s/t cards have to remain on the field when resolving their effects or else they will fizzle. If you MST a BWW when it activates, the opponent does not get to search for a BW from the deck.

2. BWW requires the BW monster to stay face-up on the field until it is done resolving because it checks the monster's stats in order for the player to search for a monster with lower stats. If the BW monster is removed from the field or flipped face-down before BWW is done resolving, BWW will fizzle.
