First topic message reminder :
Hello, folks.
Forumotion have added yet another feature to their forums. Now you're able to 'Mention Tag' another member of the forum in your post, and they'll receive a notification about it as well.
It helps members to tag other members by using @username
It gives you the ability to identify and reference people in a post.
You can receive notifications via the toolbar or email: Front(Page)>> Profile>> Notifications
If you have a username with a space or special characters, you must add " " After the @ and at the end of the name ( See Example Code Below )
Of course it won't work for all usernames, some example that won't work:
@test@sd.com
@<3Natalia<3
@#Natalia (# Hashtag will be taken into account not @)
There is also the #hashtag feature where you can #hashtag words. That can be edited from Profile>> Tags>>Add words(Follow a new tag). You'll be notified when one of the words you've added is mentioned in a post.
There is some minor issues with both codes, however, it's nothing major. In fact, this is quite the improvement.
