I think that blackwings need a xyz too

Once per turn; while this card has XYZ material(s) attached to it: 'Blackwings' monsters on your side of the field cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. During your Draw Phase; you can banish 1 'Blackwing' monster from your hand, field, or graveyard: draw another card.

Blackwings don't need an XYZ.

Actually they do.

Just because they can spam each other and easily call Rank 4 they don't need XYZ.
they have all they can have ._. also generics Xyz or Raid Raptors do the searcher job or otk.

Years ago we never thought that Lightsworns would get synchros and tuners, but here we are

I can gamble xD Konami will not give themen Blackwing XYZ. because they don't need it. Maybe the synchro and tuner and new cards will have the effects you are looking for. but an XYZ with blackwing in its name will never occur D:
