Not exactly, there will be many differences with the original one made by dean animation. This one is made by Ufotable and its going to follow the VN to the letter and not mess shit up.

The animation is far superior, when Archer went into sonic boom my jaw dropped all the way to my moma's panties.

Also I'll be mentioning that superb way of telling the story the right way, pinpointing the dramatic moments. Great pilot all in all, it's been a shitload since I've seen one so good.
