The Statue
This gigantic statue of the announcer of the colosseum only recently appeared, and it certainly didn't make a standard appearance. Accompanied by an announcement, the 20 foot tall ton of marble literally rose out of the ground. It can clearly do all manner of things that will have a large impact on your duels.
Area Effect Table :
1: Watching :
Even the statue itself appears to be watching the duel. This is going to be tense. This duel has some extra hype surrounding it.
"Double the amount of tokens recieved by the winner of the duel."
2: Robotics :
As expected, the statue isn't ordinary in any way whatsoever. Whilst your duel begins, it begins to move about. It must be some kind of robot. It seems eager to help smash things.
" When a monster destroys another monster by battle, inflict 500 damage to the opponent."
3: Missiles :
The statue begins to fire missiles at any highly defensive targets for some reason. These conditions are probably not ideal for a duel.
"If a monster is in face-up defense position, destroy it."
4: Lasers :
The eyes of the statue begin randomly firing lasers. You're starting to doubt this is really a statue, as it seems to function as a weapons platform.
"Once per duel, during your main phase: you can negate the effects of one face-up card on the field. (This effect is spell speed 1)"
5: Offering :
The announcer must think he is a god or something, because the statue just began demanding tributes in return for almighty power. Believe it if you like.
"Once per turn, you can discard one card: in 5 turns, draw 3 cards."
6: Destroyer :
The statue is on a rampage, and is using everything in its arsenal to mess around with your duel. This is going to be pretty hectic.
"Apply all of the effects from 1 to 5."
