Just kidding, but seriously, it's about time we had a tournament, right?
I am taking sign-ups for Duel Academy's first World Cup. Here's how it works.
When you sign up for the tournament you name a country you'll be representing in the tournament. This is either the country you were born in or the country you currently reside in.
The first round of the tournament you'll be competing against one another, and the top finisher from your country will move on to compete in the World Cup, as representatives.
We also have participation rewards, and as the amount of players increase so do the rewards, outlined as follows:
1 person - 10,000 DPs to the winner
12 people - 20,000 DPs to the winner, 10,000 DPs to the runner-up
16 people - One rank increase to the winner
20 people - Each member of the host country that wins gets 5,000 DPs
24 people - Each country that has enough participants will get TWO entrants to the World Cup, as opposed to one, prizes for third and fourth
32 people - A free pass into DA's League for one month to the winner, or an increase of two ranks to the winner, 1 to the runner-up, and prizes for the top eight
40 people - First prize is 50,000 DPs, second 30,000 DPs, 3rd and 4th 20,000 DPs. 10,000 to each member of the country that wins, 5,000 to each member of the country that comes in second. 10,000 for making it to the top 8.
48 people - A reward to be determined, by Jin Kazama.

Round 2 will be in proper World Cup format. You will be drafted into a group of three or four players. Each week at least one competitor from each group will be eliminated, until there is a group of four or less duelists left.
Estimated completion time: 5-6 weeks. Keep this in mind when signing up, and good luck!
