Kinda back. Maybe?

Using a browser based proxy that sometimes works on my comp, sometimes doesn't. It's the crappiest shit ever and keeps trying to attack my computer and hack it, but whatever.

I officially should have this site unblocked by next Monday, since that's when school ends. No, I'm not at school right now, and that's a long complicated story involving my unstable emotional state. I'll save that for another day.

Other than that, my summer is going to be super busy, so I'm not going to be around full time. And, if the staff here needs me to save the Teaching Division again, gimmie green and I'll start working.

But yeah. Guess I'm kinda back.

It's the nature of this place.


It's an online forum for people who play yugioh. Online forums for things are quite niche, and only people who are deep into the internet stay active here. A lot of people who are deep into the internet are psychiologically getting away from real life. That's already one reason for seeing a lot of depressed people about here.

And then there's the yugioh bit. People who play yugioh are, sadly, going to be moving slightly further away from the rest of society; it's not exactly the "popular" person's choice of passtime.

And finally there's the whole community thing. Some people go online looking for communities and suchlike of people similar to themselves who they can get along with. There are just a whole host of reasons why mental issues are so common on the internet.

What this world is coming to, however, is increasingly bad. There are vastly increasing numbers of people with recognisable mental conditions, and if you ask me they're not recognised properly.

I honestly don't think government authorities have ever paid any attention to rising figures in mental conditions, but it's a problem that needs to be solved worldwide, and people just aren't getting the right kind of help. People aren't taught enough about different mental conditions and how they affect people's lives, and I personally think it's something that should be a necessary part of education.

But that's just my take, and I'm taking a pretty serious note here for a welcome-back topic, so I'll stop my lecture.
