Someone who is NOT a staff member comes up with a good RP idea, they can pitch their idea with a poll in the KickStarter section and people vote to see if it's even worth fundraising. I believe RPs are 8,000 DPs. I think it's fair to say that the host contribute 4000(half of the project) so the funding moves faster and it shows that the host is dedicated.
Small details like, "can there be two hosts for one event to contribute the 4000 half and half?" will be details staff can take into consideration(assuming they like this idea at all).
Feel free to ask questions or make suggestions of your own. Staff may read what you have to say- and they might like it.
