as you may know, we are giving out Duel Points (DP henceforth) for free as token of our appreciations for your unflinching support over the past 5 years in which Duel Academy has been around.
However, because December is still a special month to us (and probably to some of you, too), we have decided that, as another sign of gratitude, we will - only on the next 4 Sundays - give you all great discounts on Main Shop items (such as Profile Songs, Exams or Name Changes).
As with the free DP, this discount will gradually increase, so the closer we get to Christmas, the more discounts we will give you. Starting today with 20% discount on one item, this discount will increase by 20% each Sunday.
Sadly, we can only grant this discount to one item on each Sunday, and you cannot use an unused discount from a previous Sunday on the next Sunday(s).
As for the practical demonstration, take the Profile Song item. Its current price is 2000 DP.
Today, on Sunday, 1st December, using my 20% discount, this item would cost only 1600 DP. If you are not too good at Maths - no worries, here's a calculation. 2000/10 = 200 (equals 10%), so 200x2 = 400 (which equals 20%), leaving us with a final price of 1600 DP.
On the next Sunday, 8th December, our discount reaches 40%, which is 800 DP of our Profile Song item, leaving us with a price of 1200 DP.
On the following Sunday, 15th December, the discount will reach 60% - which is 1200 DP of our Profile Song item -, leaving us at a final price of only 800 DP.
And for the last Sunday of this special discount action - 22nd December -, we reach 80% of our item, which is 1600 DP, so our Profile Song item is 400 DP only.
However, due to security concerns, we are unable to give discounts out for Warning Removal items.
Now, you might ask yourself, "how do I actually use these discounts?", and the answer is simple. Upon creating a new request in the shop, there is an input field called "Additional Info", and that's where you simply say that you are going to use your discount - remember, one item only! -, so there should be no troubles with that.
We are also aware that not everyone resides in the same Time Zone, and as such, if it still happens to be Sunday while you are requesting a discount while it might not be for others, do state so in your post under all circumstances! (This primarily affects users with a GMT of -9 to -12.)
