This is my new real-life deck. I tend to use it in Advance Format at a card club at a high school my friends go to, and that I use to attend. It plays TCG entirely except for one OCG card, which is my Magi Magi Magician Gal. (Which I finally found on Amazon after looking for months, and it is authentic.) I live in the United States, but thankfully there are no rules against using an OCG card at the club so long as you can give proof of its effect. I call this my "Twilight Hero Deck" due to the heavy emphasis on using LIGHT and DARK monsters in this deck. But since I don't run Chaos Sorcerer, Light Pulsar and/or Dark Flare Dragon in my Main Deck (Thought they are in my Side Deck.), I don't think it qualifies as a Chaos Deck. Here's the list please give feedback, and I'll gladly answer any questions anyone might have regarding a Combo/Card they don't understand.

The thick is strong with this one.

I tend to start most of my decks at 60, and through trial and error attempt to trim them down to between 45 and 50. But yes, that is an astute observation.

So can you cut down your deck?

Not sure yet...I have to test it in the field of battle. That will happen this Friday.
The real version of this deck that I have on DN (the one I want to build but am missing a few key cards for), is so well built that it's size is needed for all of the combos, which it can pull with alot of ease.
Any suggestions are for slimming much appreciated.

I try'd this deck out and it went 6-0 no problem of winning. It's Good. Twilight Hero Deck 2864255611

Thanks, I have to say this deck works best with 60 cards after testing it against my friends. I don't understand why a lot of people tend to talk bad about decks running over 40-45 cards, they may be tougher to play combos in, but if built built right; they pwn people.

Why the...
Dark Magician
Magician's Valkyria
Twin-Sword Marauder
Dark Magician Girl
Darklon
Pineco
Acorno
Blizzard Princess
etc.
Any specific strategy?

yes, various ones. Magician's Valkyria's can make my field unattackable when i have a both of them and only Spellcaster's on the field.
Pincono,Acorno, and Darklon when used in a combo is a one turn summon of Number 96: Dark Mist. Dark Magician is mainly used as fodder for Dark Magician Girl, who has a OTK Combo I invented using the cards in this deck (and can be cemented by Magic Formula which is my Side Deck, and Scapegoat if I chose to add it). Blizzard Princess can lock down my opponents backrow for a whole turn when summoned as is incredibly easy to summon with this deck which runs a lot of Spellcasters. Twin Sword Maruader can be be good against people who play on Defense a lot, and is useful against Marshmallon when an opponent is using it as a wall as it inflicts piercing battle damge when attacking a DEF mode monster with DEF lower than its ATK. Also, it makes summoning Excalibur a lot easier.

Something I should note here is this: For years I had very few cards to work with, so I could never build a deck around a archtype/theme as I didn't have all of the neccassary cards. So I started (through a bit of trail and error) building incredibly powerful decks from (seemingly) random cards that work very well together. The end result being a strong, flexible deck that most people can't predict or come up with consitent ways to counter.

People always say my decks are random and weak due to the apparent randomness, and lack of theme/archtype, which is a big mistake. Underestimating a deck like this (when built correctly which I can do consitently, and quite a few people can't) can lead to getting you getting your butt handed to you on a silver platter.

However there are always weakness with this deck, to name a couple: A Teir 1 Spellbook/Prophecy Deck, or one of those Teir Zero Legendary Decks (I went up against one that was a Spellcounter that used a few Spellbook cards, and it ate me for lunch.)

He'll be a good Mermail player in the future. That is... if he cuts his deck to 53.

I'm sorry, but no deck works better at 60 cards.
If you find that you can cut it down to 42 at the most, and certain it more around a certain, it'll win more and be more consistent.

most of these cards are going to be dead in most situations, as this deck doesn't really have a theme. Also, it's most singles, so there's less of a chance of drawing what you want.
