Elemental Hero Deck

Hi guys,

Just getting back into it after a year or so out and want to get advice on my deck. Just so you know this deck is purely for fun but I would like it be as competitive as possible as friends of mine do set up regular tournaments.

The best Hero deck this format is Bubble Beat, though Hero Beat is still strong~

take out one E-call, because E-call is semi-limited now.

No Super Polymerization

Ok.... I'm just going to be hardcore over here.

1. Replace Wroughtweilers for King of the Swamps
2. Just like bobe said take out a E-Call cuz its semi now.
3. For goodness gracious, why aren't you running Super Polys and Omni Heroes.
4. take out Hero City cuz in my opinion its not that great of a card.
5. take out a third mask change cuz it will clog you bad.
6. In my opinion, take out goka cuz there are other better who does a better job.
7. Use Necroid Shaman since you are using King of the Swamp to get him out.
8. In my opinion, replace Pot of Avarice for Fifth of Hope, works the same.
9. take out Hero's Bond, it won't work well when you are using the classic version.
10. Take out fusion recover, trust me you dont have to worry about getting your polys.
11. take out Rampart Blaster and Trinity. They aren't that great as you thought they are.
12. Get yourself Future Gate, its up to you how many you wanna run.
13. Scratch suggestion #7. Replace Wildheart for E-HERO Prisma or found a way to get both in.
14. Now for the balls clutcher. Every Hero fun players always mess this up, the trap line-up. OK! Now let me lay it on ya cuz I hate to keep on repeating myself. This is going to be a long long suggestion note here so it's gonna butt-hurt you.

OK! so here I go. All of your traps! ARE GONE! LEGIT! ALL GONE!

Compulsory Evacuation Device (best trap in format)
Fiendish Chain (for A holes)

Hero Blast (like 2 since you have so many normal monsters)

If you want some fun
Hero Signal (at least 1, maybe)
Mirror Force (cuz its boss)
Call of the Haunted (if you want some cool plays with stratos or others)
Trap Stun (Butt Hurt card. nuf said)

Now if you are in a really small budget cut here are these (You will only put these cards in if you DO NOT have the following cards that are listed ABOVE)

Draining Shield
Negate Attack
Hero Medal (for those who love to destroy cards)

15. OK.... This will be the last so I don't have to butt hurt you any longer. Run staples plz! like Dark Hole, Heavy Storm, and Mystical Space Typhoon. I already named a few staple traps on the last suggestion.

I am having trouble laying my hands on King of the Swamp. Any ideas?

Just to go over a couple of your suggestions I haven't yet done:

1. Hero City - Is one of my favourite cards and has won me a good number of duels of the years.

2. Hero's Bond - Seems to me to be a very easy way of getting many heroes out fast. Have not actually tested it yet but will do shortly.

3. Solemn Judgement & Warning - I don't like cards where you pay a significant lifepoint amount to use them so not sure whether I'd like them.


Major problem is this takes my deck up to (at my count) 48 cards which is obviously way to high.

well sir cut down the super polys to 2 or 1, mask change probable at 1 or 2. Reason why i said to take out hero's bond is because your goal is to summon fusion monsters, not to swarm field with vanilla heroes. Hero city out because you cant return your destroyed fusion heroes. Hero City is only good if you are using the Beatdown version of heroes (not HeroBeat, just pure beatdown heroes). Like Heat and Neos Alius and stuff.

About Solemns, you need to risk life points to protect your cards. You have to because its your duty as a duelist to make sure that comrade of yours gets the job done as safely as possible, even if it means hurting yourself. With King of the Swamp issue, didn't I just tell you to replace Wroughtweiler for them?

Another thing..... GET YOURSELF SOME OMNI HEROES! Half of them are cheap, but you will get yourself a difficult time getting Nova Master and Escuridao. I can tell you that you can get Great Tornado in Legendary Collection 3 easily. The Shining in the 2012 Premium Collection Tin, easy to get him as well. Gaia is in the Wind-Up Zenmaister Collectible Tin (Good luck trying to find that).

Ok I have done just about all of your suggestions and am now purely waiting for most of the cards to arrive!

Once they do I will let you know how I get on. I will see how I get on without the Solemns for now. May get them in the future!

all im gonna say is put in a Necroid Shaman cuz he's a troll card. seems like your deck went down to 41 so thats good news. I forgot to mention that if you have a very low trap line-up you should run like 2-3 Royal Decrees. If you are planning to run this card make sure that this is the only trap you run or you can use up to 2 other traps.
