ROUND 5 PAIRINGS
First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for their wonderful activity in Round 4. Of the 45 remaining duelists, there was only 1 forfeit and 0 disqualifications as of the end of the previous round. There was, however, 1 person who dropped, so we are now down to 44 duelists remaining. Some things to keep in mind:
According to my calculations, the likely number of points you'll need to make Top 16 at this point is going to be, at the very minimum (including key losses and maybe some inactivity), 10 points. This does mean it still is POSSIBLE for even someone with only 2 points currently to win in Rounds 5, 6, 7 and end up with 11 points. That being said, anyone with less than 4 points at the end of this round will no longer have even a chance of making it to the Top 16 and will thinned from the herd. For those of you on the lower end of the rankings, it is now DO OR DIE. Good luck to everyone.
Announcements:
1. Still haven't been receiving anything in regards to videos for Featured Match articles.
2. I decided to wait a few rounds before doing Featured Deck articles, because I wanted to see if any of the interesting, non-cookie cutter decks would do well. I will definitely send out PM's this week to people whom I'm interested in writing articles for.
3. Dragon Duels ... easy DP ... make it active ... PLEEEEAAASE!
4. Round 5 ends on Sunday, January 6 at midnight GMT 0.
5. Special Announcement: Someone needs to beat Mago or else he is just going to continue his undefeated streak from the previous YCS and make the rest of you look like fools.
