Ik i'm not pro at gfx (in fact i just started) so i wanna see how good i am, rate the following please ::Monkey37::

My first one ever: First try at GFX Banner11

My second: First try at GFX Darkne11

My latest: First try at GFX Angel10

In your first work, you only resized it and added a text. In your second one, you added a render and a background, with poor effects, in your third one, you added render, background, and attempted to use effects.

I have a peace of advise for you:
1. Learn all about filters, do mistakes, you won't learn otherwise.
2. Learn all about adjustments, you'll need them, especially Exposure, Levels, Curves, and Brightness and Contrast.
3. Try to start with simple effects, your work, as a start, shouldn't be complicated, it should be simple, you don't add random effects hoping they will fit together, it doesn't work like that.

As a starter, you should read tutorials, i'd recommend you check on Divient Art, they're marvelous when it comes to educating new people as long as they're willing to actually READ something not just try random effects.

and thanks for the bunch of advice cause i wanna get pro at this gfx stuff
btw would you say paintshop pro is a decent editing program to use for this?
and is using mybannermaker for fonts on words a good idea?

I use Photoshop, never heard of Paintshop before.

psp isn't a decent editing program. There is no support and nobody will be able to help you make signatures. Get photoshop cs2-5
