The summoner of illusions, is a flip effect who, by offering one monster (except himself) as a tribute, you can special summon 1 fusion monster, but it is sent to the graveyard at the end of the turn.

it can pull out a blue-eyes ultimate d., to play blue-eyes shining dragon really fast, or any other big hitting fusion.
you can escape its demise by dimensionhole or interdimensional matter transporter, or any temporary field removal.
i hope it helps some of your decks. tell me what you think.

Gaia Drake the Universal Force is a thing. It's good to just waste a Shining to get back 2 HEROs if you're desperate.

But, let's be honest, setting a monster that requires you to tribute another one may sound alluring due to the powerful monster summoned, but it is not worth it at all.

This isnt worth putting in your deck

Flip effects like this are very situational

You will usually lose this monster before you have a chance to use its effect

Its also a minus one card

Plus there is no garantee you will have a monster to tribute

i have faced a deck that is MADE for flip effects. it has no extra deck, and 1 tribute monster or monsters with over 1700 period. it is an ankle biter tournament killing deck. it had vengeful bog spirit, level limit b, gravity bind, and the astral barrier/spirit barrier combo(astral takes direct attack, spirit makes all battle damage 0 as long as theirs a monster on the field). it had 3 needle worms, 3 swarm of locusts and scarabs, stealth bird, morphing jar #2, morphing jar,and the only tribute being guardian sphinx. it decks out your opponent in a matter of about 5 turns. throw any deck at it, you'll lose. GUARANTEED. ive tried swarm decks, beatdown, burn, level, exodia, etc.

this is living proof that a flip effect can be used effectively.
all you have to do is tribute a token (scapegoat), or dd survivor, and you have a fusion. you can even use book of moon, tsukuyomi to flip it back down, then flip it up again. it states that the monster is sent to the graveyard during the end of the turn it was summoned this way. use dimension hole, interdimensional matter transporter, and it comes out next turn, and stays out. who knows, you could use it as an xyz material, synchro material, tribute, or a million other possible uses. this is the legal substitute for magical scientist and cyber-stein.
summoner of illusion is in the old labyrinth of nightmare pack.

he can summon that blue-eyes utimate, dark paladin, gaia drake, black skull d, master of oz,etc.
