Dueling's lost it's appeal to me.

Over the past few weeks, I've been feeling a sense of dullness when it comes to playing this game I've come to love so much. (More than I've loved any game ever)
::Monkey59::
It makes me so sad to have to write this, but I feel like it's just getting painful to play now, as it's time and time again I'm sacked horrendously, called a failure of the game, as I've grown alot as a duelist over the past few years and yet I'm playing same old deck, same old strategies, and I can't prove I'm right for playing it that way.
(I'm not directing this at you Placido, this is in general. Although I admit, our duels have helped me come to this realization.)
My dueling with many duelists recently made me angry, as I've been sacked. Hard. (Partly because I lose my cool and make reckless moves that ruin me. Not saying I'm absolutely terrible, but I'm making rookie mistakes.)
I only get angry when I lose when I'm only playing to win. And thats not the way ANY duelist should be playing. It's sick to say, but a lot of duelists get sucked into the desire to win more so than having fun.
I've never desired to play just to win, but with my skill increasing as the more I play the game (NOT SAYING I'M THE MOST SKILLED DUELIST IN THE WORLD @N/Lethal)
(BTW, you guys are overly judgmental. You crash on anyone trying something outside of the box [or at least that's the way you make it appear.] and it's one of my peeves to see you guys saying I suck at this game [no matter how much I do/don't] [although sometimes it agitates me just talking to you about anything YGO-related] and whatnot, as that's not something you should be saying to anyone, let alone me. [Mostly directed at Lethal. Mostly.]) ::Monkey7::
(Or maybe I've just grown to dislike talking to you guys. I don't know.) ::Monkey23::
I'll probably be back within a few weeks to a month. I'll come back when dueling is back to the way it was for me not so long ago. Exciting, adrenaline & blood-pumping. Fun. (Laugh all you want you soul-sucking fun-less duelists, I actually played the game to enjoy it. Hence my temporary leave.)
Unfortunately, I'm just not feeling it anymore. It's depressing to say, as I'm sure it would be for any duelist to say. However the fact remains. I'm just not having fun anymore. I'm leaving, and I hope that my passion for the game brings me back like it did not too many years ago.
I appreciate all the fun I've had around here, the exciting duels and some fun time posting, I'll be back sooner or later. Not leaving forever, just a temporary absence to try to sort out my feelings for YGO. DA will be in my heart, and I'll be back and ready for some dueling hopefully.
Thank you all for the great times and I'll cya round the duelin.
::Monkey9::
(I forfeit any duels I have yet to play in any tournament/war/whatever I'm in. If I won something, great, just throw it on my profile and I'll enjoy it when I get back, if not, meh.)
