First topic message reminder :

so whta do think will get hit by ban list? now im not asking what you want but what you think though you can also list what you want as i will list what i think will get hit and what i want to get hit XD

BLS-EOTB - this guy will either get banned or will saty limited for ever i think XD
monster reborn - TBH it is a rather good card that doeent require a cost
brionac - also good card and pertty powerful though chances are low
limited
evolzr laggia - this guy is basicly a walking solemn judgment without having to pay half your LP
inzektor hornet - obvious reason is obvious
wind-up mouse, or wind-up hunter, or wind-up zenmighty - same as above
semi-limited
rescue rabbit

anther thing to consider is that normaly TCG ban list is same as OCG one

We dont like the list because, while it does do a few things that are decent it doesnt address the problem the format has as a whole. Dustshoot was the most likely to be banned, because its way to overpowered in a conservative format. Early game it won you the game majority of the time. Trishula is a bit late. I mean with Maxx C, Veiler and Fiendish being so common and plants not seeing much play anymore, It didnt really catch our attention. Torrential to 2 is something thats been talked about for a while, because of so many power cards and boss monsters, its another way to punish over extension. Regardless, this still doesn't do much to our format.

I dont know about you but I dont like a potential format where if I dont open Maxx "C" in most matchups, and Veiler in others, I lose. All the TCG exclusives we have make this much worse. Not to mention we still have priority on ignition effects, and things like Maxx "C" going up in price so much. Of course it never fails that Nationals Format will be dreadul

You also cant say "Of course 'x' will happen" on various choices because you dont know what konami can do, its almost impossible to make predictions because konami is unpredictable. Keep in the mind the list is made months in advance. They do take product release into account, but we dont always know how they will do it

Majority of Harbingers reasons were legit and made sense, yours on the other hand did not. Regardless what you said came true so far for the OCG. However that doesnt make the format any less bad.

We also have 1 more day to see if our list will be the same as the OCG.

I say "Of course" because Konami does this far too often. Things don't get banned the format they come out. They stick around a format or two, and, if they are still big issues, then they get hit. This is how it is, simple as that.

Thats true they do that (Cold Wave, Mass Driver, Shien, Brain Control, etc list goes on and on.)

However they also hit various things on the spot:

-OCG doesnt have Reborn Tengu yet, its automatically semied when they do have it

-We have heavy storm back for the format bring back more conservative play. Ban Dustshoot as soon as the format is over.

-Gateway to 1

The make changes that are reflected through product release:

-Bls being reprinted in gold series. Limited to 1 in Sept

-Hyper Librarian going to 1 instead of banned due to potential issues KDE would have with Sensuha and KoJ.

Plus anyone remember back in 03 or so when sangan was at 2. Think which was there as well, and then back to 2 cant remember cause the time span for lists in the TCG were shorter back then. Point is when things were possibly going to be a threat, they took care of it.

These examples dont even Scratch the surface. Again all this happens at various times, depending on product release and the problems of the game at the current time, and what they plan to do within the next 6 months-1 year.

So you cant go based on a few things they do in the past, because everything is done in advance. We dont know how they plan to promote the game in the future. I would love to say I can make perfect predictions on this and that everytime ban list season hits. Makes things less crazy, but i cant due to them being unpredictable.

True, Konami can be very... erratic, to say the least. But, it seems kinda like economics or meteorology; we can make some pretty good guesses off of past experiences, but there is always room for error. I understand that I cannot be 100% sure of anything, much less anything Konami will do, but I can perceive trends and make hypothesis', at least.

uhg i hate konami for semi-limiting tengu -.- im also not happy about the limit for earth cuase my agent deck needs earth to have the bes chance to bring out stardust, hyperion, and krysta out in one turn >_<

the only good part was banning dust shoot and semi limiting torrential to be honest

hmm well lets see windups and inzeks will be like six sams 1 format domination and then strong banning, bulb and spore really make no difference if they wanted to hit plants they shouda hit dandy or lonefire, T.G. agents i saw being hit, and semis im happy about lumina semied since i run twilight xD

So let's leave Rabbit and Wind-Up Rat/Hunter because they are perfectly fine rigjt? Oh and we can't actually do something about Tour Guide but Tengu can get semi'd.

Konami doesn't have any thing to do with the prices, stupid people who decide prices do... Gah every thing is so expensive now-a-days >__< good thing i don't play meta!

But srsly playing on a competitive level is going to suck this format... it'll all be inzects and wind-ups. -____-

I don't think sworn is going to be that great again, the deck still is just alot of luck.

lol i take offense to that Id like to think i use some skill to win. Inzeks and windups will dominate this format but banlist after march they will die just like six sams did, tour guide is gegtting reprint so dont buy one anytime soon!!!

Personally, I'm pretty much indifferent about this banlist due to the fact they didn't ban/unban anything directly hero-related.

I neither lost nor gained anything from this list. .-.

most of the list im ok with i just dont liek tengu getting semi-limited as hes a really great card for one of my dragunity decks ive spamming

im also not happy with earth becuase MY agent deck relies on earth a bit to bring out stardust, hyperion, and krysta out in one turn -.- but ima going to have to go back to my old agent deck where i teched in valkyries and odin which means i ahve to buy them all over again :/

ouch thats pretty unlucky, ive gotta pretty big budget for anything i wanna buy since i already sold my bulb and trish for pretty high

oh and you were wrong about one thing light though the banning of bulb wont hurt plant decks to much it qill hurt quasar deck but the banning of spore hurts plant decks a bit due to the fact its a really good tuner for plants

Lumina and TT at 2 makes me happy... after using them at 2... even more happy. So fun grabing Lumina with Lumina then grabbing another LS, XYZ for 3 (possibly Levi to grab a banished card).

have a good side deck

les see to get past inzekts you could use shadow-imp mirror, macro cosmos, dookcal, or skill drain

for WUyou could use gozen match, D-fissure, skill drain, or you can use shadow-imp mirror just so they cant do the loop with hunter

For the record, D-Fissure does not work against Inzektors. Heck, some Inzektor players Main it!
Anyway, I am happy that two of the major thorns in my side have fallen.

after i read this i thought about that and i see how you are right so i fixed and replaced D-fissure with macro cosmos for inzekts that should stop them :/

Heck, you can use Trap Hole against Inzektors and Wind-Up's, or Chain Disappearance...
