Well this is a normal thing. It's because you are so used to being around people, that leaving your mind go beyond the state of the things you know and are used to, seems like something that is bad or doesn't give you any satisfaction or interest. It's a mind set that is also usually connected to your personality.

You said you hate being separated from people. This is a normal thing that occurs when you are not allowing your mind to actually think out of the box and you fell anxious or bored and uninterested when you see or experience things that are not connected to something you are familiar with or connected to.

Or, you just can't appreciate the beauty of the subject...

I don't feel anxious or anything, but I just don't see the point of being alone. If I wanted to stare at a beautiful thing then I'd much rather share it with other people - just my input on things.
