We had just got the TCG Release of Starter Deck 2013 this month, so why not explain some new strategies involving one the the new cards: Caligo Claw Crow.
Caligo Claw Crow is a little winged critter that can special summon itself simply if u control any DARK monster. The downside is that the Crow only is allowed to be summoned that way per turn. Anyway, let's move on to some tactics!
Caligo Claw Crow is a DARK Winged-Beast type that can easily help swarm
the field, which makes it perfect for Blackwing decks, which is ALL about swarming!
One way Crow hand help the deck is to make a Blackwing Armed Wing (or another Level 6 Synchro) viable even with Kochi. Simply summon Kochi, Special summon Crow. the rest should be clear. Crow can even help make the powerful but hard-to-summon boss monster, Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant much easier to bring out. First, summon Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North, then use its effect to summon any Level 4 Blackwing, then summon Crow using its own effect. You now have access to Silverwind, using only 2 cards from your hand! If Silverwind's not sufficient enough, you still have the freedom to Summon any other Level 8 Synchro, like the fearsome Crimson Blader!
You can also use Crow with Junk Synchron for even more flexibility in its Synchro options. With Crow, Synchron now has easy access to Level 6 and 7 Synchros, just by using one extra card in your hand. This means you can easily summon Black Rose Dragon, and devstate the whole field, and still probably have some hand goodies left!
Well, That's all Caligo Claw Crow can offer. Although it was used in the Zexal Anime, it proves to be a somewhat good tech in Synchro decks! Fear the Crow! Or not.....
