For all who don't know, at YCS Jersey, they announced that Constellar Pollux and Evilswarm Castor's effects are continuous. This was later confirmed by Jerome Mchale.

Basically, how it works is their summons do not start a chain, if skill drain is activated before Pollux or Castor's summon, it does not negate the extra summon. But the next turn it does not get an extra normal summon. I hope this got rid of some confusion for you Constellar and Evilswarm users. I'll be doing more stuff on this.

It's new. No more confusing.

They did this about 1-2 weeks ago or whatever. It was a huge debate on their rulings.

I'm pretty sure it says that if Skill Drain was already active before Castor's summon, it negates the continuous effect, as it's triggered on succesful summon (but can't since it's negated).

However, if you CHAIN Skill Drain (or Veiler for that matter) to the summon, then it's not negated as it's already triggered.

"-If you Normal Summon them successfully, and their effects are not
negated from the moment they step on to the field by something like Skill Drain
, then for the rest of the turn their effect is applied, regardless of what happens to the monster."

Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what I meant. Skill drain has to be face up before Pollux or castor was summoned in order for it to be negated. Thanks for the correction.

I'd advice wording it like this: "... if Skill Drain (or Effect Veiler) is
chained to the summon of Pollux or Castor, it does not negate the extra
summon. But if Skill Drain was already active before the summon, it will
not allow the extra summon to be possible."

Also Bottomless is not negating their effect, only cards that negate summon negate their eff and of course skill drain (if it was on field before they were summoned)

It's true that Bottomless Trap Hole does not negate the effect directly. However, the continuous effect disappears when the monster disappears. So you still cannot normal summon a second time.

Only way to negate their effect is negating their summon, the extra summon effect goes to "sack".Once it is summoned you get the effect Wink.

as long as the summon is successful you get the summon effect regardless if Pollux is on the field or not

It's the same for pollux and Castor.

You're wrong, as long as the summon was successful and the effect was triggered you get the extra normal summon, regardless castor/pollux is removed from the field or not.

and for Fluffy, It's funny that you say that in the next turn after they were summoned you don't get the extra normal summon ._. because you only get that extra normal summon the turn theyre summoned e.e

The effect is continuous, it says once per turn. So if there's nothing negating its effect, you still summon once per turn.

no. it says you can only GAIN it's effect once per turn.
so if you summon pollux and summon another pollux you can NOT summon again

What I know is if Drain activates after Pollux/Castor's summon, it doesn't negate and it can if it activates before Pollux/Castor's summon. That's what I meant e.e Nothing changed. Except it's a Continuous Effect.

"You can only use this effect once per turn" however, is a Condition Effect and it cannot be negated, so no more second Pollux's effect Castor and Pollux rulings. (For all who don't know) 3974120512
