Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword

Must be Special Summoned with "The Claw of Hermos" sending 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card is Special Summoned: target 1 other monster on the field; equip this card on the field to that target. It gains 1000 ATK. The monster equipped with this card by this effect gains 500 ATK and DEF for each Dragon-Type monster on the field or in either player's Graveyard.

Imagine this card in a Red-eyes deck: turning your Metal Dragon or stone into a 2400 or a minimum of +1500 ATK boost for another monster

Note: on organization the Equipping effect is Mandatory.
On wikia is Optional. We hve to wait until one of the two have a final matching translation

It was confirmed is Mandatory. So you must equipp it If Possible to a monster on the field.

I would prefer Red-Eyes Fusion to summon an Armades-like 3200 ATK beater (→ Black Dragon Archfiend) and do some burn damage (2400) instead of summoning that Sword.

I mean Metal Dragon: the level 1 that searchs xD

Why is this thing called Red-Eyes Black Dragon (Sword) when you don't must use Red-Eyes as the Fusion Material?

In the anime joey used B. Dragon. For that reason

All legendary dragon fusions have various uses.The Amulet dragon and the Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight have solid effects and can be summoned really easy with e-hero prisma and so on.

This card can be comboed with various cards that have great battle effects like bujintei susano's effect to attack all monster cards or a piercing damage effect.Armed protector dragon could be devastating if you back him up with a trap stun or a royal decree.

At least now it seems feasible to use all 3 legendary dragons together. This can be equipped to all of the timaeus/critias fusions. Dont think it would be woth running legend of heart though. It and the 3 knights would create dead draws. But prisma could stand in for dark magician/dark magician girl and also be used for the tribute for legend of heart. Could make for an interesting fun deck.
