Its nice but would be much better as a quick-play or trap card.

Really? I think it would have great utility if it were a quick-play. Even if just for a side deck against other synchro decks or decks that spam low atk monsters. Think of it as a torrential tribute that wipes your opponents field for the cost of one of yours. Wouldnt even really be a cost if you chain it to something that would take out your monster anyway.
