As I sat in the corner of my room, I listened in on the welcoming party for the neophyte next door. Their talk of fun and duels momentarily piqued my interest, so I decided to walk outside. I entered the room, did a small bow, and left without saying so much as a word or even making eye contact. I reflected on this action minutes later, and pondered on whether or not going back to make a proper exchange of greetings, only to continue sitting in my room to work on my novel.
