Heliotrope is a mineral commonly called "bloodstone", as this card is a "Gem-Knight" monster infected with the "lswarm" virus.
The infected monster probably is "Gem-Knight Garnet".
The Japanese description of this card is literally reversed. This points at how the "lswarm" infection is so powerful it causes the infected's mind to be corrupted, and even something like communicating properly becomes a hard thing to do for them.

I never though that cards have their own background stories D: This is interesting.

Basically, the back stories for cards and archetypes are duel terminal. This is a weird arcadey type thing which dispenses cards before they are properly released, and stuff happens with the different archetypes as they beat the crap out of each other. The verz monsters are all evil virusy things which are infected versions of loads of other monsters and they are extremely cool lmao.
