Lucky???

Okay, I have like the worst luck ever in this game. Yes, I form great deck lists from tips and tricks from people here and online websites. But I get dead hands all the time, even with draw/search engines. I play combos right but I don't draw the right spell or traps at the right time.

So pretty much what I'm asking is if there is a deck type that doesn't really reliy so much on luck?

I know dead hands will always be there and I'm not asking for a OTK or FTK. Just a deck type or helpful cards to help me get the combos I'm trying to pull.

((My main deck is a Chaos Dragon if this helps.))

CDs are obv gonna have bad hands, as does any deck that runs many high level monsters, equip cards, or has 1-2 specific cards that they need to rush toward to complete their strategy. Meta decks in general are either fast enough and searchable enough to not worry about this, or they are simply consistent and virtually any card becomes a useful card.

Try E Hero Beat. It may be more to your liking. Other options are wind-ups (but they're very difficult to master), Geargia/Machina, and Psychics.

Okay thanks, I'll go look into them and hope for the best. Is there any more type of decks?

Six Sams are easy to use, but can also have bad hands on occassion.

Machina Gadgets should almost never have a bad hand, but they're a bit slow for the current meta.

Dark Worlds with the correct build, 90% of the time you'll have a good hand.

hmm. i can understand ur problem. part of it is relying on other people too much. the reason ur not lucky with decks is because u are running someone elses deck. u need to make ur own deck, take what uve learned from peoples deck lists and put together ur own varient with tech and personal choices thru ur own testing and other work. then ull see ur luck improve.

Alright. Everything here is very useful. =) I'll see what I can do and see what all conbos I can pull off. I'll get to work on a new deck, then I'll PM you Whatup Nab and test it out. Sounds good?

Maybe your decks are just unbalanced. It would help if we could see an example of what you're using when you have bad luck.

I also find Chaos to be very easy to use. It's also very versatile, and my favorite deck by far.

Ok. I seem to have the same problem from time to time, but the solution for me usually comes out to be replacing cards that dont support the overall strategy with drawing cards. This might not help as much as it does for me as it does for you for the simple fact of chaos dragons being kind of a versatile deck. Try it out on dn though, and i agree with neko, a good deck with no bad hands is hero stun, but also try out hiretics, ive never run them my self but ive never seen someone get a bad hand. Thanks everyone. I would have posted my deck lists but YGOPro Dawn of a New Era is acting like a little kid and won't run. But thoughts has occured of a Anti-Meta Chaos Heroes?
