I dun think the colors go well with his jacket, a bit too many bright patches imo and the twirl effect around his arm seems to go into is harm at some points rather than around.

Not to be racist or anything, but i think the color does go well with the render. Not the jacket, but the skin color. Plus, the jacket is a very dark color, and black... well, it goes with everything. Lethalz GFXing level is pretty high compared to other beginners.

The lighting is bad, it would be better if the light source was at the top left, that way it would interact with the render a bit. If you need any help, you got me on skype. I also have a GFX Q&A thread at TWA.

I tried many different colors and most of 'em looked weird with the render lol

Take a look at a color wheel, it can really help you make decisions about what colors go with what, and look bad together. Sometimes it's just best to put colors that are already present on the render in the background. Also, check my last post, I edited it a bit.
