First ever website design

Finished making a website today, the buyer still hasn't replied... Spent a lot of time making this... What do you guys think? Never done anything like this before, it's more tedious than making signatures...

about gfx design its excellent. I dont know what style of design u use like all images or u style it with CSS3.

if you want to be great web designer take tutorials of CSS designing. thats the future of web design. pages load many times faster and content is visible to google search engine which are major factors when it comes to design. u see our navigation bar iamges? well that is already history, no professional site uses those anymore. gradients, borders, shadows, rounded corners, glowing, animations, all html+css+js/jquery/ajax not a single click at photoshop however u must have photoshop skills of course. they are still highly needed in other areas of web design.

its nice to see gfxer here doing something else than signature/banner/avatar/userbar things :D

Thanks Amy, right now I'm still learning CSS and HTML, for now I'm stuck doing PSD templates for the real pro's. Once I get better with css and html, I can learn ajax and jquery.

Yeah, I did make a working website, but I just cropped the images and put them together, it doesn't really function that well, and the slider is the only thing that works. lol

It looks nice! back ground is sweet :D

I really like the design, my only problem is the text on the left hand size (Index, forums, etc.). Looks a tad out of place IMO. Other than that, amazing job!

It looks amazing, I have the same opinion as van though, the text on the left does look a bit out of place.

Sidebar text is bad. Gradients don't look smooth and the text is too bulky compared to everything else.

People are entitled to opinions. Even saying ones opinion is bad is also an opinion. But yeah, the text needs to be made smaller and the style changed.

the ppl with money tell whats good and whats not. no body cares for opinions. they just order what they like :D

The fonts/text screw with things, but that can be overlooked seeing how good the rest looks.
