Posting Color

Hey i was on another forum earlier today, and they had a thing where you could type a hexidecimal color in a custom profile field, and it would change the color of all the posts you make. I'm just wondering if we could integrate that onto forumotion forums, cause the forum he was using was Mybb, I talked to him and asked how he did it and he showed me how.

Have any examples you can show?

This is the color yellow

MyBB is the forum type they use and forumotion does not have an option to change to that type. It could be done also without that, I know how to do it but it would need lot of work since I would code it from scratch and add to that the fact I need to optimize it for our layout. Changing layout means every time we change the skin I would need to change layout again and add that code. Editing layouts manually disables my javascript management moduel in admin panel and I would need to add all my javascripts into forums header which means again editing layout. This would conflict with skin change and the process of skin changing would be so hard to do in order to keep everything we have done in previous one. Also I would need founder account to do it.

To sum it up, too much effort for a simple thing :D

In my DHQ forum I would do that in few hrs but here lol.


But it would be very nice option though.

DHQ is dead now. I did not want to keep it since it had no point.

and idk, i remember forumotion having Mybb ... or i am just confusing it with zetaboards, ...

Forumotion has, Invision, Php2, Php3, and PhpBB and craps like that, But no MyBB.

PunBB is what you remember probably.
